I notice on some nights when I turn my lights off and I stare at the gauge cluster closely I can see a light blinking behind the gauges. I have no idea what this could be but I've been pandering for a while now.
It's not easy to spot right off hand, you have to look very closely at it but it's there.

is it possible that someone put a piece of tape over one of the warning lights before you bought it?
Nope. All my lights turn on when I turn the key over and it checks the system for any faults. It's like in between the speedometer and tach on top but behind the cluster

probaa bulb just a bad connection to the bulb or bulb going bad. If your going to take it out and check just order the leds and swap them all out while you are there.

it's not a bad bulb LOL it's a steady blink never delayed or stops. No flickering. Almost like those aftermarket alarms with those leds that flash to "warn" people there's an alarm, it blinks at a rate like that. But it's not red, it almost seems white/blue. Someone mentioned it could be the factory alarm, but then I thought it could also be the tracking system the dealership installed in case the car ever needs to be repo'd

The car is financed remember. Dealerships put tracking systems in their car's in case the owner of the vehicle tries to hide it in the event that the car isn't being paid for.

they do sometimes but normally on a higher end car to justify the cost. I have seen them before on customers cars but never in the gauges they are normally just hacked in under the dash like a cheap alarm. Gauges come out with 6 screws it would be easy enough to find out.
