from the people who have done both. which would you consider the easier upgrade. I am almost done with my LT's now and the pi cams are in the mail. and i am hoping to pick up the intake shortly. and FYI 4.6l LT in a sn95 are more of a PITA than probe gt headers. thats bad will the cam and intake go on easier than the headers? i hope

Well, I rate longtubes at a 10 out of 10 on the difficulty scale, and I had Stainless Works lt's that fit perfectly...

The intake swap, takes about 3 hours by itself for the noob, I have it down to like 45 minutes now, lol. The cams, take like 5-6 the first time around, if you are taking the cover off.

The cams and intake are time consuming because there's alot in the way before you get to it, then you need to be very careful about what you are doing when you get there. LT's take a ton of time because they just don't fit, lol, it's like 10 lbs in a 5lb sack under there.

what is the secret to getting the pass side header off. I have 2 bolts left. the ones that are lined up with the motor mount. top and bottom. the driver side is off but im waiting on a egr piece before the long tubes can go up

Remove the passenger wheel, wheel liner, and you can do it with a ratcheting wrench.

They are both time consuming mods to do.
I did my PI intake in two hours useing the rtv method the hardest part is taking
everything off the top of the engine. The pi camshafts took me four hours(two hours per side)
useing the AFM cam retension tool without taking the front timing cover off.
I didn't have to degree my PI cams though. If you don't feel confident useing the cam
retension tool and think you will skip a tooth on the timing chain then don't.
Take the time to take the front timing cover off.
I never did the LT's because it is such a PITB and so time consuming.
The best way I heard to install LT's is to lift the engine on a engine hoist
to ensure you don't get an exhaust leak.
