Long Tubes with Cats?

So does any one here run cats with their long tubes. I am worried that with long tubes the cats maybe to far from the motor to heat up properly. My Cobra is up for emissions testing and I really don't want to hassle of putting shorties and factory H-pipe once every two years.

I don't know how strict your emmissions laws are in your state, but in Cali, your cats need to be in the same location as stock, most long tubes fail visual inspection

NM should be no where close to CA on the visual inspection, I just worry about the emissions test it self. But the car does run super clean last time I tested it.

Nope.

I would install a cheap set of shorties and the stock H and get it tested. If you want long tubes, that's one of the sh!tty parts about having them.

I just passed super clean with some Magnaflow Highflows welded in to my Mac H pipe with long tubes.
Hell my Low HC was 28 out of 180.

I cut my stock h pipe and welded on flanges to meet my hedman longtubes. works fine In NV
