Longtube's, shorty's, and Midlengths...

What are the advantages and disadvantages of each, i know its common to use Longtubes on the 96-98, but where is the difference really?

does one give more HP or TQ than the other? and are the midlengths in the middle?

Longtube headers give more horsepower/torque than shorty headers......... Dont know about midlength headers but I do know that my longtubes gave me one hell of an exhaust note and power about 20-30 horses

Damn, that good? Sounds like a plan then, i figured one gave more HP than the other and the other gave more TQ than the other. i hear ther's clearance issues though, but 20-30 horses is well worth it.

Yeah get longtubes its worth it :thumb: but yeah as for as clearance goes we had to drop the k-member to get the headers on properly and are you doing this your self or taking it to the shop........... I used Mac ongtube headers cause mine is a automatic but make sure u get some good headers gasket so they want start leaking the next day :hammer:

probalby do it myself, i dont trust a shop to take their time with something like that, they might try to bang it in and mess stuff up.

Yeah I understand..... Its better if u get ceramic coated headers 2 so it want rust or whatever they lil more expensive 2 though.... I got chrome probably want be long before start fading LOL
