the vic jr is a tall intake, i cant fit an aftermarket plenum with it under my hood.But it has no lower side to it, i can completly see my valley over my block,i actually dropped a bolt in there today and was able to get it out no problem thanks to that.
the vic jr is probly not the best for my setup because of where it makes its power but its what came with the car, i persoanlly would have gotten a typhoon because its range is better fit for an n/a engine..i think the vic jr is for boosted engines or to flip them to carb.

he may not know what year the heads came from.... If i bought a PI swapped car I wouldnt ask for the vin number off the donor car.. .. . .. lol.

this is my 6th cougar/tbird , had my 1st one given to me by my brother 5 years ago.
1st, 92 cougar ls that i was about to supercharge but sold it and the entire swap for it
2nd, 97 cougar XR7 built up 4.6 best time in 1/4 was 14.88 i belive on nos
3rd, 92 supercoupe but 4.6 swapped only minor boltons,slow
4th, 97 thunderbird lx with a 32v and mods, thing was a MONSTER !
5th, 93 cougar xr7 5.0 , minor bolt ons and built trans
6th, 97 Tbird that you read about..
Dont get me wrong guys i will own a mustang soon or later but i just love these cars and how they ride and the deals on them i couldnt buy half a mustang for it noneless with the engines ive been lucky to own..
I think he said my heads and cams were from an 03 vic , like i said, i trust the guy...he knew his sht and had enough other built cars one of which was an old rx7 with a 3.8sc in it that his wife built..he even told me what he shimmed the rear gears at and that they came from a wrecked car and not new. Also he said the heads were gone through and had new valve stems seals and stuff put in as well as timing chains and guides..
how much you guys thing i paid for the car and all that came with it including the bodykit?

heres some pics of the intake i have..also the new injectors i put in and the "fornow" rigged on fuelrail, it doesnt budge a hair but it will be fine untill i get the proper fuel rails for this manifold..also you can see how shallow of an intake this is,would it be considered a " short runner " intake .?.

lol,im not driving it...it has to get plates,insurance and i wanna get the bodykit on so i need to work the rear pipes to fit the rear bumper exits...this is a project but a project i can handle..only reason its been driven was to get it home and make shur the new injectors were good to go

Yeah, no kidding. Honestly, I can't tell if it is a Vic Jr in the first pic or not or if the 2nd pic is from the same car or not. All I do know is the improved "pull" is probably from the gears. Don't drive the car with your kids in the car with those injectors like that. The "fatboy" injectors were there for a reason.
On a side note frank goes through cars faster than Jones goes through women..
