Look what I got for free!

Alright, so a friend of mine hit a deer with his 02gt a couple weeks ago. He had to get a new bumper, passenger side fender and a door. His dad went and picked up the door for him, brought it home to find that it had come off a terminator and had a mirror on it. He didn't plan on using it for anything cause he only had one, so we worked out a deal for an old 4.6 block I have that I never planned on using. I figured I would look around for a driverside mirror, buy one and have a set for cheap. Well, a couple days ago another friend of mine bought his wife an 03 midnight blue v6 car that had been hit in the front. He's a fox guy and is not real big on modular stuff and i've been helping him piece the car back together. Well, we opened the trunk on the car to find a white driverside terminator mirror in the trunk! I said "man I need that mirror." He said "take it if you want it, this car has 2 on it already. Its not the right color anyway". So yeah, i have a set of terminator mirrors, for nothing pretty well. Man its good to have friends!

awesome dude i love the free stuff, my friend has so much stuff left over from the t56 swap im getting a king cobra clutch kit with about 10k miles on it and a poly trans mount for free. and if i want i could have 2 factory radiators 1 stock fan a stock upper and lower gt intake (already have one sitting at my house) a 65mm sn95 throttle body and other loose ends.

i cant wait till he upgrades his blower and i can pick up his powerdyne for a few bills.

That's cool. I honestly prefer the look of painted stockers, but the Termi/Export mirrors are def cool.

If you read my thread about leaving a cruise in a couple weekends ago you wouldn't think so.

It'll be a little while. I just got a new hood that I need painted as well, but my motor is apart with a broken cam gear and timing chain. Gotta fix the go before the show.
