I have a 96 mustang gt and it keeps using antifreeze. I think it might be the jug where you put the antifreeze is this usuly a problem with these cars.

You may have the infamous plastic upper intake manifold crack/leak unless you upgraded in the past to the aluminum crossover. If plastic, try to look and feel near and behind the t-stat area for any antifreeze. Hope it's that easy for you, otherwise you've got to go hunting. Could be heater core, leaking hose, leaking radiator, leaking O ring for T-stat, or even something major as a headgasket for example... many possiblities. IMO, Start with the easiest and go from there.

It has had the recall for the intake manifold. The car does not smoke no leaks on the ground all I can see is the resovore looks like it is leaking.Thats why I was wondering if that is a common problem with these cars.
