low oil level sensor

I guess I never looked on that side of the pan before but today I noticed the spot for the low oil level sensor. It would be a fairly simple install to wire up to the digital dash if they work I was just wondering if anyone had one installed and how they liked it?

A bunch of these cars came with the sensor installed. It’s a nice bit of insurance, but I just say check your oil every now and then and you don’t need the sensor.

I am going to run the wire for it today and next time I change the oil install the sender. I watch the pressure gauge like a hawk now but it still seems like a good idea.
