low oil pressure

Hey guys I have a 94 GT with 100,414 miles on it just recently I notice when given gas the oil pressure goes to normal when at idle it goes down to
no pressure at all what does this?? I have changed out my oil sender that did not help changed the oil and filter still did not help?? :dunno:

The gauge might be bad. Hook up a mechanical one to it and see if it still does it.

Get an aftermarket gauge. The stock ones SUCK

Does the engine run rough at idle? If so you may have spun a main bearing. Might be a good idea to check your oil. Thats what happened to mine.

I would change the sending unit again. I changed mine 3 times.

the engine has a smooth idle does not smoke drip oil nothing I guess I will put on another oil sending unit and see what happens.

It might be the actual gadge(in the cluster) but keep taking the sending unit back until you go though 5 or so. If you have no oil pressure then you wouldn't be going anywhere.

Get a REAL gauge. Mine did the same thing and when I put my Autometer gauges in, it showed like 50-55 psi and the stock gauge was on the N in NORMAL.
