I will for sure. I have another set of npi heads that I'm gonna clean up lap the valves and install new stem seals. Then open up the ports for better flow.. If I can find a set of pi cams for cheap if not I'm gonna buy mhs stage two recession buster cams.

2 years ago i had a chance to buy a motor that was built and its twin was the fastest 2v in nmra history in factory stock at the time. I said no only for teh fact that it had SVO heads on it and if somethign EVER goes wrong, it has to be ripped apart and pi heads swapped on.

The only thing that manifold will give you is more weight and heat soak, but good luck. I hate the bullitt for that reason...

from my understanding this manifold out flows any factory ford 2v manifold and is where ford design the pi and the bullit manifold off of. I have a npi motor with stock npi manifold for my plan of staying with mostly ford parts it was a good find for me.

Flow isnt everything, how much does it weigh, how hot does it get during normal use, how long does it take to cool down. For those reasons alone, no manifold beats the pi, price, weight, heat soak.... pi wins

For the price this made more sense to me, a pi manifold is 250ish plus plenum and throttle body it adds up the same, weight is not a issue this is no drag car 10 more lbs is not gonna break me, and heat soak uh, well proper ventilation will take care of that. For every obstacle there is solution.

this car has a goal and its to make a good power range using factory ford parts.
me using the npi is not the best route but I'm using it anyway cause its what I have, so I rather have a correct npi manifold.

Unless you have ice water to run over, around and through that hunk of iron then you will have some hot ass temps. You can get used elbows, larger throttle bodys and a used pi manifold for under 200 and be better off. You enjoy your new hunk of metal, I will keep my opinions quiet, and good luck. Post up some before and after dyno numbers

ah. Mine doesn't make the correlation..

So, wichers.. What other parts will round out your intended combination? I'm curious about the cams you mentioned.

Stock pi cams, I already have bbk long tubes and catless h-pipe. I may shave a little off the head but not sure yet I need to make some phone calls first, if I can't get my hands on some stock pi cams, I'm gonna pick up some regrinds from modular head shop or mod mafia performance.
