2 years ago i had a chance to buy a motor that was built and its twin was the fastest 2v in nmra history in factory stock at the time. I said no only for teh fact that it had SVO heads on it and if somethign EVER goes wrong, it has to be ripped apart and pi heads swapped on.
The only thing that manifold will give you is more weight and heat soak, but good luck. I hate the bullitt for that reason...
For the price this made more sense to me, a pi manifold is 250ish plus plenum and throttle body it adds up the same, weight is not a issue this is no drag car 10 more lbs is not gonna break me, and heat soak uh, well proper ventilation will take care of that. For every obstacle there is solution.Flow isnt everything, how much does it weigh, how hot does it get during normal use, how long does it take to cool down. For those reasons alone, no manifold beats the pi, price, weight, heat soak.... pi wins
Hunk of iron?
