ive heard good things..idk how much power tho..id figure around 360 at least..my question is..not to hijack..but if you can put an upgraded whipple or kenne bell with the torque tech intake? now torque is a great company..i called them last year when i was thinking about getting the kit. but you need PI heads.. so on your 2v youll want to get some dished pistons to make up for the compression bump..mine as well do rods while your there..just my .02. cause once you boost. youll want to turn it up

also i beleive the kit was 2200 for non intercooled and 2500 for intercooled..dont qoute me tho..and remember youll need a fp..heat exchanger, resivoir(sp?), injectors and all the lil lines etc for the kit..basically you need the rest of the termi set up..SO depending on the cost(a buddy was gonna sale me EVERYTHING i needed for $600) of what you find..id look elsewhere..it gets expensive quick..

I was going to do this but chose to do the centri route instead. With the m112 you need to change not only all of the stuff 97LSxGT mentioned but you also need to modify your hood and what not because the blower will not fit under the stock hood. Not that this is a bad thing but you may have clearance issues especially if you go the intercooled route which is what i would plan for just so you don't get heat sunk.. But roots=faster punch off the line and more power in my opinion.. but that's just my .02 im still on the fence about my set up as well..

but seriously, nitrous is cool for a drag car, but I dont want to have to refill a bottle or get out, turn my bottle on, heat it up, before I can go..

I just want POWER NOW!!!!! lol

In your TV
^^Nobody cares about your off topic dirty car crap, Handz. Get over yourself.

The TT kit is just fine. Out the door you'll be cheaper than the KB. Any money you saved and you can use an M112 upgrade blower that the Cobra guys can. . The ported Eaton will over power the stock motor, so you'd better get the wallet ready.
Personally, I'd go Whipple if a ported Eaton wasn't enough. After years of doing positive displacement blowers, IMO they are the way to go.
The other thing to look into is the TVS rotor pack upgrade. We are finding the with minimal work the newer style TVS rotors can be used in the roots housings. A ported M112 with the TVS rotors would be a sweet machine.

I guess your talking to me?

Thanks man...I thought it was ok, but apparantly my engine bay is so dirty that my car is no longer cool. :)

just kidding, that color is the reason I bought the car though

I wish the KB wasn't so ugly on the 5.0

I've never been a nitrous person but there are plenty of people using it with good results. I have to agree with Justin, I don't want to worry about re-filling the bottle. I want the power at all times.

One thing i do like aboit the Tork Tech and the KB kit over the centri is not having to worry about so many hose clamps for boost leaks.

Yea, true...not that its really a big deal since boost leaks arent a problem at all but I think the PD blowers look better and cleaner under the hood.

If it wasnt so much cheaper to do a centri kit I would have done a KB most likely.

How much did you spend handz?

like 6k?

Yeah, like 6K, but that included EVERYTHING. with EVERY extra.

The KB Kit was 4,500. I added the KB CAI, LMAF, Accufab 75mm TB, KB BAP, Aviator Fuel Pump, AND the SCT Xcal and the CUSTOM dyno tune. I would say it was a good deal considering the SCT Xcal and the Dyno Tune was $900 just by itself.
