mac catback woes

i'm having a hard time getting my mac catback to line up right.. it's either too close to the frame rail or control arm. and if it isn't one of those it's vibrating against my lines!

and i'm forced to run it dumped over the axle because once they are on the actual hangers and not hitting the control arm, the tail-pipe on the passenger side is touching the gas tank


it's the newer MAC style with more parts. i think it's 4 each side? (flow tube, muffler/over axle, tail pipe, tip)

i need a pic of how some of you have yours lined up.

my slp is 4 parts each i think.. possibly 5.. but fits fine.. just saying..lol

im not saying it doesnt fit because of the amount of parts u gotta put together, just people have had more issues with this particular mac system, as opposed to the older ones that were only 3 piece.

I have the stock catback with welded in flows and 4 inch tips. But love the sound of macs

Go to a exhaust shop and have them fab up an exhaust. It will be new and fit perfectly!!!

Mine fit like shit too. I just gave up and got a flowmaster catback. It hit the axle tubes and leaked pretty bad.

Mine fit like sh*t... seriously.... i finally have it to where the tips lined up and it dosent rattle.
But one of the mufflers is kinda crooked. I hate this catback and swear never to touch it again.

SLP sounds like shit,only thing going for it is its stainless.the only reason its easier to install is bc its slip joints and not ball and socket. Sorry didn't mean to be a dick but it really gets to me when ppl praise shit ass slp when all it is,is a god Damn stainless steel glasspack.no sound quality at all,just noise
