I have kicker speakers, I cant remember exactly which ones. Try crutchfield.com to get an idea of prices and stuff for your speakers. I love my kickers speakers. They are really loud and clear.

Ditch the mach 1 system completely and go with an aftermarket system... MUCH BETTER.

agreed..... you "own" a nicer car than a lot of us much older have ever owned

right now its more trouble than you could ever handle and IMO keep the radio down for a while until you get used to the car and driving in general

thats seems like all i see on here is u bitching about ur mach.
Seriously, give him a break, he wants to make his car unique. Who cares if he posts to get opinions, no need to make him feel bad like all you guys made me feel when I first started posting.

Apparently you aren't seeing the plethora of threads that this kid posts about how he doesn't like this or that with a car that he can't appreciate because he didn't pay for it.

Well...
If I had say $4K to spend right now, I'd do a full JL Audio build. ZR650-csi components up front, XR650-cxi in the rear with a HD600/4 powering them, 12W6v2 powered by HD750/1. And a decent HU. But it's all in how much you want/can to spend........

The 13W7 is an SPL woofer really IMO. And a power hog.... How much of an upgraded electrical system do you have? I'd say a 200 amp alt and a kinetik HC1200(in the trunk) would be about right. The HD's pull 100-110 amps leaving the car 80 to do whatever... The W6 line of woofers are alittle better for SQ and still provide a solid sub stage. The ZR's can get dirty if ya want them too but get sloppy if not powered/tuned correctly. Looking for just the right blend of the front stage and sub stage makes all the difference. The 13W6 is also a monster woofer and not as power hungry.

Yeah Hence the laughing smile. Anyway, I would love to put any version of the 13" JL in a system. Just cant justify the cost atm.

Those with the Mach 460 or 1000 setup: Keep in mind you will need to run your new speakers off a diiferent amp, or directly off a radio's amp.
otherwise the speakers will short out. The mach speakers are 6 ohm whereas car audio speakers in general are 4 ohm.
I went down that road a while back.

Go to crutchfield, do some research, and buy the best you can afford and install it right.

The end.
