Hey all, i have a 96 GT and want to pull out the mach 460 system and the factory keyless entry system since it doesnt work. I want to pull all the wiring for it out too but i dont want to mess anything up as far as starting the car goes. The 460 is out but the wiring is rediculous. Im assuming ill have to open the whole wiring cluster thats taped up? Any help would be awesome.

you can get an easy $50 from the wire hrns, people always want them to upgrade. The hrns goes across the back package tray, through the hole on in the corner of the trunk and then goes down tire well to the front of the car. You will need to remove the lower interior quarter panel to pull it out, which means you need to remove the upper quarter panel/seat belt, ect.

As for the keyless pretty sure that wiring is there no matter if you got the keyless or not and they just plug the module in if you did. The wiring in the door locks is a funny system that a bad connection anywhere in the wiring will make it work really badly or even not at all. Just leaeve that wiring there.
