mach 460 ????

i want to install a set of components in my doors, i have a 95 gt with the mach 460 stereo system, i was wondering if the door speakers, or subs, are recieving only bass from the stereo? or do they just not have a voice coil? i dont want to put a set of components in there only to have the tweeter not work at all, or put out bass? i just want a little more out of my highs , they seem to go flat when i turn it up loud

I believe all your speakers (mids, subs, tweeters) get the full audio signal and do their respective filtering within themselves.

Unless your unit has sub pre-outs... they might pre-filter the signal...

Maybe someone else should jump in on this to confirm or deny. :-[

Sometimes I get fooled up between how I would/do design things and how they're actually done.

on my mach460 system all the speakers have full sound, except the ones like on the front corner of the windows. The real small ones, I dont hear anything at all out of them, maybe they went bad or something.

thanks for the advice, thats kinda what i was thinking too, i guess now i have to buy a set of infinity components, and see if they work
