off road X or H or a straight through catback like SLP, Borla Stingers, Magnapacks, etc....

ya dude i hear ya on the loud. my best advice for a cheap way to make your car louder is do go to a muffler shop thatl do it get some 2 1/2 piping and take out your mufflers and put and buy an x pipe. some may think different but a few of my friends have it and it sounds amazing.

Completely agree, IMO don't waste time on having a loud stang with a NPI motor. I hate that I have a great exhaust but no power to back it up

Your exhaust should be about as loud as mine (Flowmaster Catback w/ UPR O/R X) and mine sounds perfect. Only thing louder would be SLP...But thats REALLY LOUD and you eventually trade it because you want the Mac back.

I say you keep the set up you have now.

if you REALLY want it lower then get some cut outs. Then you can just By-pass the muffler and run straight when you want to and sound decent when you need to just by putting the cover on.

just have a muffler shop weld them in for $50

I've heard the 4.6 is bad for open headers..backpressure isn't liked by the 4.6 motor is it not?

I hear it can burn the valves out.. :dunno:

I have a feeling that going to an offroad h will actually get you the extra noise you are looking for, I understand that your prochamber is catless, but it is really mixing up the exhaust gasses pretty good because of the way it's designed which should be muffling it a bit. An offroad h pipe barely mixes the exhaust gasses, it just fires them right through the exhaust with a nice loud/crisp tone.

When I switched from Flows to Magnapacks, the exhaust got a lot louder and personally I love it. It just flat out makes me smile every time I hammer on the car and it sounds like the world is coming to an end.
