I was wondering since I broke my hurst knob with Nos buttom in the middle.. That is there any other brands that make a hard solid ball vs a plastic ball.. with buttom in the middle.. I looked up Hurst's site and they say they are on back order but they dont say if they have finally made one that is a hard solid ball. Can anyone help me..

I know you need a nos button but the pool ball from American Muscle does work in my car. Weighted nice solid no slipping.

I used to have the Hurst cue-ball and loved it then got what Bub has from AM.. I'm not a big fan honestly, it's too big. I'd personally get another hurst ball. Mine from AM already has a hairline crack around the middle too.

I have a solid aluminum shift knob on my car. I hate it when I'm sweaty....my hand just does not grip it. You're going to play hell finding a solid one with the button in the middle so good luck to you.

I use pool ball shifters, perfect size for my hand. Im sure if you found someone that makes pool ball knobs they could drill a hole for a nos button...

I've broken one in half years ago too you can't screw it on so far and have to use the lock nut . I bottom it out then back turn the ball so it's all squared up then use the jam but. I actually superglued my old one back together.

I have the AM cueball. Broke it tightening it too much - the metal part inside broke off from the cueball, cueball itself was fine. Just epoxied it back together and didn't manhandle it again. It's great but with my MGW shifter it's too far away from me to be comfortable. Otherwise it's great and inexpensive.
