Ok when I do my head swap im going to do a bit of weight reduction on the front. with moving the battery to the trunk and ditching the a/c system. Now to get rid of the power steering would it be possible to just remove the pump and cap the lines or loop the lines? I would like to do this atleast temperarly until i can afford to buy the manual rack and shaft. I just remember drving my car down the street without a belt on the pump and it was a pita. but i also had 18's with a 255 on the front, and am now running skinny's. I figured between that and the pressure from the pump not spinning was the reason it was so hard to turn. Dont tell me not to do it cuz its going to happen one way or another this car is nothing but a toy.
