today I was struck with the idea maybe I should trade the stang for a marauder (or f250, but prolly a marauder). I don't know much about the marauder, except that i think it's sex. I am asking for opinions here... husband get's highly annoyed by my stang obsession, maybe he'd be less annoyed by a marauder... but... I NEED to mod... is the marauder fairly modd-able? and would it be worth it... i really love the quarter mile... and thinking it would be a cool stealth vehicle...

um imo the marauder doesn't have anything close to what the mustang has. the marauder is a cool car but definitely don't trade your stang for it, the stang has the looks, the peformance plus it's always hot to see chicks in stangs.
chicks in marauders look like they just got it from their grandma who died.
stick with the stang, ull be much happier, trust me. if you got a marauder you would miss it and the novelty feeling would ware off after noticing how it's a boat.

I like the marauder Mel, I have seen some nasty looking ones on some websites, and it does have the 4 valve in it. There are a bunch in the 12s with minimal mods. A black one would be tooo sweeettt :coolsmiley:

The Marauder is highly modable (word? lol), 32v engine, super tough 4r75 (in 04) transmission, watt's link rear suspension (like a NASCAR), and enough room for you and the girls, comfortably. The ride like a dream stock, handle rather well for a 2 ton car.
They also knock down about 20 mpg, and do it in style that just can't be matched. Not to mention the ability to spank the stank off a GT, and IMO, doing it in a grandma car makes it even better, lol.

It's one of the things I love so much about the car, to the average person, it looks like a boring car, but I spot them immediately! Thinking it could be a real sleeper... and it would have to be black...
And I'm getting tired of being pulled over for stupid crap when I'm doing nothing wrong, just cause I'm driving a stang...

Torque converter, you would want a stall converter since it's a heavy car with a rev-happy 32v.

It's a tossup, between mileage and price. When i was looking I found an 04 with 32k on it for 15800. I looked in a 100 mile radius though.

Once the stang is payed off im def. getting a one. one of my favorite cars next to the stangs and to the unknow ricer they are a sleeper from hell. :knuppel2:

Guy i work with used to have a sweet black one with full exhaust on it, sounded and looked mint, ive thought about one of these from time to time
