ok some im drivin on the highway on my way to work and this sonoma pulls up beside me. its decked out with blacked out headlights and taillights and dual exhaust. i dont pay much attention but he drives next to me for a while then get in front of me and slows down. this pisses me off. so i get on the side of him and try to pass but he speeds up. i floor it and he trys to keep up. i hit about 90 and he was in my rearview mirror and i was goin 75 when we started. dumbass. :rollinglaugh:

I knida had this happen to me when I was driving my sonoma, but reversed. I had a guy in a Edge style Saleen pace next to me on the highway. He got infront of me and tossed his hands up in the air like "whats your problem" so I got over and got next to him and told him he was...LOL!!!

So we start speeding up, and at about 90 he floors it, and so do I..... all I saw was his front bumper in the rearview.




Oh yeah, my Sonoma is a 98 ext cab all stock appearence, and it's got a 04 LS2 ZO6 motor in it :banana:

The V6 5sp pickups are pretty fast. They are like 210hp and can hang with a stockish 96-98 2V.

I have a 94 5speed 4.3 v6 s10. It was rated like around 180... it won't keep up with a 96-98 2v lol.

I dont know where u are getting LS2 from, but all 01-04 Corvette Z06 models had the 346cubic inch with engine code LS6, rated at 405HP.

The LS2 is 364 cubic inch rated at 400HP and found in the 05up base model C6 Corvette amongst other GMs with various HP ratings like the GTO(05-06) and CTS-V (06 and up, previous years used the same LS6 as found in the 01-04 Z06) and the SSR (05 and up)as well...

Yes, as ive stated above in my post.... 2005 and 2006 model GTOs had the LS2 (6.0L), the first year 2004, had the LS1 (5.7L)
