Well meangrn will be leaving soon. guy is waiting to hear from bank and then figure out a time to come pick it up. I know ill pry miss it down the road but ive had it for 3 years and im just ready for a change.

Id really like to get a mach 1 but its hard to find one anywhere remotely close for a decent price. found one with a lot of work for 16k but it has flames which i really wish it was stock paint. Im thinking 99/01 cobra, 96-98 cobra or maybe a bullitt. i really want a 4v. Debating on a vert. never been around a vert b4 so dont know what to expect but i wouldnt mind a black cobra vert... there is also a 97 gt that is in real nice shape with only 55k and a lot of work but b4 i thought of it id make him put it on a dyno and then go thru part #'s to sort out any bs (supposedly 15k in it, aluminium 2v completely forged (wish it was 4v), built tranny rear end etc.)

cant have too much fun the back tires are bald and i dont wanna pop one lol ill enjoy driving it for the rest of the week for sure. got my eye on an electric green 99 cobra and a few other 99/01s and a couple mach 1s too.

im happy though the guy loves the car. i asked 6k and he didnt even have a 2nd thought. pry coulda got 7k if i asked lol. its going to a good place i think

I like the 99 and 01 Cobra's but look it over real good there is a reason Ford didn't produce a Cobra in 00 other then the R version. I myself would do a 03-04 Termi or a 96-98 Cobra. That's just my .02 though good luck with whatever you get.

wouldnt be able to get a termi for atleast 2 years. the price may come down but insurance is still not gonna be cheap. i havent seen any s197s for anywhere close to 15k and wouldnt sc it for years. i am really thinking of a mach 1. just hope i can find a needle in a haystack around here.

99 electric green cobra 65k $11500 (has vortech 6 psi, 396hp, clutch, built 03 rear end w/ 3.73s, meth inj, drag radials w/ 2 replacement tires, exhaust

99 black cobra vert 52k $14000 (way high imho)4.10s, shifter, springs, 03 cobra chrome rims 275s up front and 315s in back

im in sd so thats why there aint much around here. these cars are around 7 hours away.

i am leaning towards the mach 1 over the 01 vert. its a tough call. id love a mach 1 but torch red aint my fav color but its a good price if still available. 01 cobra black vert is sexy as hell. never been in a vert b4 so dont know what to expect but it looks amazing. then there are the probs that ppl have with 99/01s. :dontknow:

I want an 03 oxford white termi it's probably my dream car.. I dunno why but i think they look like sex on fire.. a friend had a sonic blue one and it was pretty bad ass also but either a white or mystichrome 03 termi is my next car..

Meangrn will be leaving sat as he is coming to pick it up. its kind of a sad day but it will be ok once i get my next one. Hoping next week ill make a roadtrip to pick one up. Just gotta find someone to gimme a ride and also waiting to hear from the bank. They said i have a "limited" credit history. im 23 and i have been paying for my car for 3 years with no probs and also have had credit cards for awhile with no issues. did a credit check @ the dealership with the 01 vert so we will see what they say also. hopefully i will get good news

just wondering if any of you younger guys have loans w/o cosigners. im 23 had my loan on my car for 3 years always paid it same with credit cards and they are saying my credit history is limited and doesnt look good for getting a loan. its through wells fargo btw. anyone have any other places more likely to say yes? im talking to the dealer about going through them if i decide on the 01 black vert but have just been playing phone tag with the salesman so far. supposed to hear back soon
