Depending on how big the shot is... I dont try to tune anything myself... I have a tuner that knows what he is doing tune my car... When nitrous is involved, make sure first that you are putting enough fuel in the engine... Bigger injectors and a pump or a wet shot... The so called "rule" is 2* of timing for every 50 shot of nitrous... Some would say 2* for every 50 shot and than 2 more to be safe... I will let you know a personal experience story with my friend... We put a 100 shot on his fox with 24 lb injectors and a 190 lbh in tank pump with a 6* retarded timing and burned a hole in the piston 3rd pass down the track... In theory everything was right on the car... We did nothing wrong... The motor did not like the nitrous... My suggestion to you is, if you want to spray it, do it right and get it tuned on the dyno... That way, you know its "safe" and you know your actual gain from the nitrous...
