I'm getting back to my muscle car roots after a few years of trash talk from my dad for driving a Subaru STi or just the fact that it's not a Ford lol. Well I've decided to start working on my stang again. I've done the basics so far O/R H pipe, flows, CAI, Short Shifter and now I was looking into buying some headers, gears, and was thinking of purchasing a used upper and lower cobra intake from a guy I know. Well I guess the main question I want to get too is what brand and type of headers would you guys suggest (long, short, equal) and is purchasing the used upper and lower intake worth it or should I just get a new one. Before anyone asks what do you want to do with the engine I'm looking to just get into the low 12's with this engine because I'll probably do a full engine rebuild in about a year or two after I'm done with my house

Again its been a while since I've been under the hood of a V8 and I normally work on my own cars but how difficult will it be to put that upper and lower in. It doesn't look to hard but I've had those days where I say that and 6 hrs later I'm still trying to put it back together :rollinglaugh:

Long Tubes would net the most power but then you'd need a new midpipe. it wont take long to swap a new U/L :) :coolsmiley:
