Just bought my first mustang, a 98 gt. I got 2 interior issues, first the driver seat doesn't move forward or back, it sounds like the motor is trying to move but it's stuck, conveniently right where I need it, all other switches work. Second the power mirrors are inop haven't really got in to any diagnosis yet just wondering if these where common issues or not.

it driven by a worm gear that can get dirty enough to keep it from moving or there are also some parts inside that could have broke. You need to take the seat out and look at the bottom and at the least clean and regrease the worm gear or possibly replace the broken parts and you are on your way.
