Recently installed a dorman intake mani on my npi 2v and the car fired right up but it didn't sound to healthy it had a misfire and almost like some cylinders weren't getting any pressure? It's just lacking power and I'm assuming its because of the miss. She also puked some oil so I replaced the gasket underneath the oil filter(forgot what its called) and that solved that problem. The cats do sound clogged so I'm assuming that's what causing the miss? Plugs and wires are all good as well. Should I go ahead and but he cats? Any help would be very much appreciated! Im still learning so please feel free to correct me and point me in the right direction!

Coolant/water tracts its way into the plug holes. Pull the plug wires out one at a time to see if any water.
:wink: I pulled the plugs and nothing? I even blew them out to be safe but no signs of water down in there. It did leak before with the old intake and would misfire but now I have the dorman on and can't find any leak.
my buddy has the scanner but I'll get it later today and see what I can pull
Got it! Was a bad cat, it was crumbling so I dropped the midpipe and gutted it. Car finally has power again! Just need a quart of transmission fluid and a radiator and I'm good to go! Jw does anybody know why the Damn thing has six catalytic converters lol??

I thought the cat issue was only really relevant for ca and ny cars. Just get an off road pipe
