misfire, running bad sounds weird...problem..

I have had this same problem for a while..posted on here a long time ago and just don't know what's the deal. I'm ready to throw a carb on it and be done with it.. I have mods posted in my sig.. New 255 pump, new msd wires, coil cap, rebuilt the injectors, cleaned the maf, replaced the iac, o2 sensors... And more that I can't even remember.. Now for the problem.. I start it when its cold. It will idle for a min or two.. Then surge. Give it gas and it stumbles then revs... But the engine doesn't sound right.. Like a spark plug wire is off...(Already checked all of them.. And sprayed water on them@ night.) If I kill it.. Then restart it after a few seconds.. It will run GREAT for a minute or two then right back to sounding like crap.. And it doesn't have the power it should... It seems it runs good or okay in open loop but bad in closed loop?...(I might have the two mixed up...) I unpluged the maf while it was running and drove it... And it ran great @wot. But kinds weird everywhere else.. Also pulled the Iac while it was running and it died... Assuming it should... Any ideas to point me in the rigt dirrection would help.. Oh and timing is set at.....10 or 12... Thanks for your time..

I assume since you have gt 40 heads that you pulled your distributer...I had a brain fart once and put mine in 180* out, my car did the same thing yours is, set it right ran like new... just a thought

Lol yep.. Already been there... I also had the plugs in the wrong fireing order once... Anything else...?? Anyone?

My suggestions would be:
Perform the Idle reset method posted somewhere around here.. ( clean/reset: TPS, IAC, MAF etc..)
Check your fuel pressure
Have you gotten a tune? Most guys running H/C/I will notice a drivability increase with a dynotune...

Agreed with the need to pull codes.

The 94-95 puters are finicky about O2's. Is there a reason to think yours are bad?
