missfire and i need help please!

i have a 97 mustang gt and my problem is i have a missfire on cylnder #s 1 and 3 i replaced the plugs the wires and the coils now im at a loss the only other things i can think of is maybe bad wiring or bad or clogged injectors what else would cause those cylnders to missfire any help will be apprieciated. i dont wanna spend any more money on it till i know im not chaising gost around my car lol.

Assuming that you plug gaps are correct and all connections are good then it sounds like an injector. Check your wiring harness to the injectors, sometimes critters will chew thru them. If you dont see anything try swapping the #1 and 3 injectors with two others and see if the misfire follows them.

thanks for the info heavyrightfoot ill do that this weekend and also run a cr test to get a good idea whats going on behinde the scens

Check plugs and make sure the spark plug wires are secured, check the wire connection to the coil, if this is all good then swap injectors from 1-2 and 3-5 cylinders. Retest, if the misfire is STILL in the # 1 and 3 Cylinders, then you know your issue is NOT a fuel issue, and we can procede with the diagnosis.

thanxs duff daddy and i checked the wire conections to the plug and to the coils both are secure when i get numbers back from a compression test ill post them and see what you all think

swaped the injectors around and that didnt change any thing fuel pressure is at 30lbs and couldnt get a compression test done couse didnt have the right adaptor for my car still have the missfire also all plugs are gaped right and maf is clean so is iat so idk im lost now.
