I couldn't really see your coolant pipe modification though but it's all good I'm just going to run the hoses instead of cutting the pipe I'm just going to run heater hoses from the heater core to the water pump and the adapter tee that I bought.
Unless you're talking about the blue thing looks like it's going to your coolant temperature sensor?
It's all good that's a good point worth note taking as well. The vortec instructions say to trim one and a quarter inches off the hose I will see if it clears fine which I'm guessing it should be. If I have to make another modification or a little bit more I willI thought we were talking about the hose up front clearing the belt.
What was the cost of that piece and was it specially made or do they stock those?I thought we were talking about the hose up front clearing the belt.
Lol lol yeah I know what you mean things can get expensive with these carsit was a custom made piece for me. I sent them the dimensions/angles that I measured but I would think that it is something they could make again now that they have the design. I got it so long ago I can't remember what it cost as if I remember what I have spent on everything I would probably be depressed to know the total.
I sent you a message on IG I think it was yesterday but just in case I may have any more questions with the install even though you are responding here pretty quickly and I appreciate it, if there is a more quicker way should I run into any issues if you would like I could reach out to you as well.it was a custom made piece for me. What exactly is your setup is it mostly stock with the blower? What fuel pump and injectors? Anything after you want to add it's fine.it was a custom made piece for me. Gotcha yeah I do the Facebook groups a lot here mostly when I Google stuff and it takes me to a forum but I do have on staying net I do have a progress thread for my 94 cobra. Be aware I do use speech to text probably 99% of the time and a lot of times it messes me up and I don't get to go back and correct or depends on what I'm doing I don't necessarily correct everything LOL.stock bottom end, trickflow 170cc heads and stage 1 cam, 42 lb/hr injectors, fully upgraded the fuel system to -8/-6 AN fuel lines and a holley fuel pump outside of the tank, holley HP ecu system. I am not on IG much, and a fair amount would say I am here too muchand certainly on fb too much.
don't do bama for the tune if that was your plan. I tried them, didn't work and it ran horrible.
No I don't think I misspoke and said bama LOL. It's a custom tune I'm going to get a mail order from the same guy to fire the car up and then I'm going to eventually drive it down there to get it dyno and potentially tweaked if need bedon't do bama for the tune if that was your plan. I tried them, didn't work and it ran horrible.
Oh no my tuner uses SCT software. So actually I have an 04 Cobra that I bought in 2019 and the previous owner is a powertrain engineer from Ford and he did some mods himself n tuned it with a bama and man I tell you the car is a beast LOL. Not saying that's the case for all bama stuff as I have seen some people on Facebook talking bad about bama tunes but yeah this particular car right here man is spot on it's good to gono you did not mention them specifically but you mentioned the stock ecu and sending it or something and bama always seems to be the place people have found but I have not heard of many having good luck with.
Were you still running the stock fuel lines going to the fuel rails?no you did not mention them specifically but you mentioned the stock ecu and sending it or something and bama always seems to be the place people have found but I have not heard of many having good luck with.
You did the ones under the hood as well? I'm going to leave mine as they are good it seems 500 to 550 but I've seen others say more. I'll be fine for what I'm doingit was stock lines when I added the heads, when I added the vortech I did the fuel lines.
