More tires?

I know tons of people post about tires but I thought I would just add to the maddness. :ass3: I was looking for some new tires for my wifes car and saw the Nitto Invo's but have not talked to anyone that has owned them. If you guys know anything please let me know. According to Nitto's website they are pretty good tires. :help2:

I found a set of 315/35/17 Sumitomo's for my Mustang for $160 ea. not bad i guess... not the brand that would be my first choice, but it's a 315, and it's under $200. i might be grabbing a set when i pick up my soon to be for sell '03 Cobra DD rims from wheel replicas. they have a great dry and wet rating, and also a great noise rating... they're on Americanmuscle.com

I have sumos and they're junk. Go with Nittos, theyre pretty good, if not one of hte best.

the nitto invos are supposed to have a lot of newer tire technology built in them. i have heard very good things about those
tires. depending on what your wife's car is, they could be a bit overkill, but it is better to be overprepared than underprepared.

They may have a great dry/wet rating, and noise rating... But these tires are crap.. They used to go for a lot cheaper too when I first bought them, they were $110 through tire rack. I never had any dry traction with them, with my npi slug. If you're looking for cheap DD tires, then yes, they will work perfectly.

But I bought my nitto 555r's through discounttire for $170 a tire, and I feel they're a MUCH better choice for that amount of money.

They do fine for my daily driver.. Sure, they're aren't the best hooking drag, but I get some good mileage out of them for what they are.

I've always heard bad things about them and not just about the DR's. I just have a bad rep of them in my head so I won't buy them. JMO! 8)
