Poly Urthathane FTW. i recently replaced my Busted Stock motor Mounts with Poly Mounts and they Rock. You instead of the motor moving the car kinda moves.

I went with poly because i know they wont fail again.... Stangsuspension.com is where i got mine.

how high do you got to jack up the motor to get all the bolt out of the motor mounts?

Its not bad on a 5.0....you'll be alright. You gotta pick the motor up about 3-4" at the most on each side.

is it worth doing the tranny mount too ??

when i was changing my motor mounts, i also noticed my Tranny mount was Shot and Ripped. So i replaced it with a OEM Trans Mount.

Just do both at the same time. The Tranny Mount is like Eating a Donut compared to the motor mounts.

The problem i had when changing my mounts was that the drivers side bolts that hold the Mounts to the block were sealed Solid. There was also a ground wire that grounds out the block at the motor mount and that was sealed. So i had to cut the Wire from the Wiring harness and solder on a new wire.

I need to replace mine too....a mechanic once told me that the sn95's and new edges all have terrible stock motor mounts compared to most other cars, IDK if it's true, but I've heard it more than once.
