I don't really know my mpg but i do know that i can drive on a full tank of gas for about a week to a week and a half. That's going back and fourth to work almost everyday which is about 15-20 min there and 15-20 min back. And i'll acasionally go other places too. It's kind of weird but i had a 97 v6 auto and i think my gt gets better gas milage than my old sixer, and i had a pretty good exhaust on my sixer too.

My commute to/from work is all of 9 miles, my car never really gets hot I'll see 16-17 mpg. I took it to Long Island last week, nice highway run with some stop and go & around-town driving and it managed 23 MPG. My car's in a good state of tune, 5-speed with PI intake and Pypes Race Pro exhaust w/catted X and 4 new O2's

that's odd

I just took my first highway trip since I put on the o/r h and I got 28mpg!
before I would usually get 26-27. I always do about 75...so speed was the same.

I get 17-18 around town if I am nice to it

You guy's getting 15 mpg with bolt on car's... It's tune up time, new plug's, wires, fuel filter, pcv, and Ford 02's New fluids everywhere would help too.

It doesn't have anything to do with being catless, and unless your idea of "having fun" is bouncing off the rev limiter for 50 seconds at a time, it's not that either. These car's are old now, no if's, and's, or but's about it, time for maintence.

I get about 20mpg, but am doing all those maintenance things on my '97 vert (with o/r Mac Prochamber). I'm curious--why replace the o2 sensors? I thought they were pretty stable over time...

In my experience, they seem to conk out between 70 and 100k. However they will work and malfunction without tripping a CEL for some time, sometimes.
