I have MSD box, cap/rotor and coil.
havent had a problem in 3 years.

its a matter of preference, for the price just get the MSD

There are a lot of people that have had problems with MSD dist and 6A, and 6AL boxes.. I am not one of them when it comes to the boxes.
I had a 6A box on my 89 gt for 1 year without problems, and have run a 6AL box on my 95gt for 5+ years without problems. No experience
with the dist though..

i had a msd pro billet in my 69 with no probs, i heard the stock dist is just as good as any aftermarket dist. unless your a pro street or crazy hp motor. i would spend your money on something else. the new dist. wont give you any power advantages as far as i know. if your in need of replacing the stock dist. then get the msd. otherwise just leave it be

Ford makes great dist's. I had a 6AL box die on me 2 years ago. Never replaced it just wired it back through the coil and when I do get another box it wont be an MSD. I give parts one chance, once they fail on me (under normal conditions, parts breaking due to drag racing dont count as much) then I dont bother to go w/ them again.
