I was offered an almost new set of 275x50x15 radials for a good price. My question is, can these tires hook up as well as the my loaners (26x11.50x15) et streets. I managed to cut a 1.68 on the et st which I know can be improved but I don't want to have a hard time with hitting a 1.68 with the drags when I did it with the et streets on my 3rd EVER pass, which means that there's plenty of room for driver improvement to cut low 1.6s. FYI, I've got subframe connectors and tubular control arms.

Thanks

And just to clear it up, a 275x50 is like a 26x11.50 right?

275-50r15 = 26x10.5r15
275-60r15 = 28x10.5r15

As for the drag radial. I had them before my regular et streets. They were great when new BUT the sidewall was really too stiff for me launching at 5grand and dumping the clutch so I swithed. They are GREAT tires though. If I were an auto, i'd run the radial. There are guys with 5 speeds and radials that have cut 1.50's with 5 speeds though so you CAN always improve.

Remember, don't rely on a tire to band aid a shitty suspenion.

Ry, no need for a band aid, I've got some suspension work done. I'm selling my hoosiers (27x10) and someone is supposed to buy them today and if they do, i'll pick up the radials so I can have some experience with both. I was told that I won't be able to launch too hard with the radials. We'll see.
