Ok, so i noticed that my 96 mustang gt was leaking coolant, so today i got the hose and put water in the radiator and got under the car. I noticed behind the flywheel was rusty and it looked like it was leaking from there ( behind the bottom flywheel ) maybe it could be a seal or something.....any idea what it could be? thanks a lot guys.

There are small freeze plugs on the rear of the block. That would require a trans removal to get at. But, make sure the coolant nipple (for the heater core) at the extreme right rear of the intake isn't leaking or cracked. It's kinda hard to see.

What year is your car? Stock intake? These are known to crack and leak coolant. BIG BIG problem over the years for Ford.
