mustang tuning/ american muscle offers a cai kit for about 60 dollars for the 3.8 but i was just wondering if it is as effiecient as BBK or Mac and whats the difference if any???

differences? almost nothing really. in fact there's debate whether or not the K&N drop in filter is any different than a CAI.,

Agreed. For our sixers, any CAI will do the job - just make sure it has a good filter on the end.

Any difference?

- Brand Name.
- Slightly different appearence
- A BBK/MAC/K&N brand CAI will come with an emissions code that some states require. If you don't have this number and are in a state that does emissions checks you will get into some sort of trouble. Nothing serious, possibly just a fix-it ticket. I don't know if Mustang Tuning gives out these codes with theirs or not. I know ebay CAIs don't.
