Car is REALLY coming along. Cant wait to see pics of the temp paint fix when its done. Also where are you planning on getting those sub frames installed? They are next on the list of my Vert but Im not exactly sure what kinda shop to bring it to. Im also curious to hear how it improves your ride and stiffens up the car!

Thanks for the positive comments. I'm honestly probably just gonna have a friend put the SFCs. But I think any hot rod shop, or car fabrication shop could do them. Don't skip out, and get the cheap "full length" ones from AM. I discovered the hard way they are about 2 feet shorter then typical full length SFCs

So, I did a few things near the end of last week.

First, I finished up my windshield border;

Second, the trim under my vert top was faded, oxidized, and had a dent with rust. So, I painted it;

Third, believe it or not, this is a huge improvement. Still needs sanded, and a second coat;

And finally, this is the latest project. Still needs sanded, and clear coated. The last two pics are just set in place to see the looks. A mock up of sorts;

And, I just like this pic;

All the progress is looking great. Subtle things like that really help. I dont know how I feel about the blue on the engine tho..

There is an end that will justify the means. I have a goal for it, but for now, this is what I can do. The calipers, SFCs, CAI, springs(when I get them) and all wiring will be blue. And I will have a mural under the hood like this;

Ya, I'm thinking I weill do mine next week. I was gonna do it this tues-wed as I don't work, but I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled on Wed. And any oversray comes right off with goof off. I don't have the time to take off things like that to paint it the traditional way, as it's still my DD.
And I guess, thanks(?) for the serious balls comment? I still need to clean up around the border, and will do so when time allows

Some progress today. I started tearing into it, then decided I wanted an espresso. Drove there like this;

Then continued on;

2012-03-08142217.jpg

2012-03-08142212.jpg

Then made a more subtle customization;

Keep in mind, this is my first time doing any of this. I would like to think it's coming along nicely. Slowly, but surely, it's coming together the way I have envisioned it....

Why not blue Ice? I really like blue. I think it goes well with white. Just wait til this car is done. Then maybe you will change your mind about the blue

Ya. They are out for now. I took them out to get the seats out, and since the kids don't ride with me too often in this car, it looks cleaner without them for now. I had to clean smoothie, and nail polish off the back seats. FUN

Little bit more done today...
From this;

I'm probably gonna sand and polish the pony back to chrome, as the wifey does NOT like the blue...
Removed some unnecessary stickas;

To now this;

2012-03-14192741.jpg

And whenever I figure out the whole process, I have these as well;

Regardless, it will be all shiny by April 28, as the first car show I will ever be a participant in is that day, at my former HS.
