Well...its a stock sixer, sorry just can't get too excited about that.

I'm not trying to be mean, it does look really clean man! What are your plans for the car? I see the windows are tinted and you painted ur calipers, anything else done?

You a golfer? I love golf...been playing since I was 10.

Since this is the Member's Rides forum, and I am new here, I was just posting some pics of my new ride as an introduction/hello. It seemed like it was the thing to do. As I said I wasn't expecting anyone to get excied or critisize my lack of upgrades. Sorry if my suprise at the negativity got us (collectively) off on the wrong foot here.

The car is exactly as I got it in the fall, but with a new rack and tie rod ends. I also added a subwoofer back set delete http://sn95forums.com/index.php/topic,48588.0.html

Yes I am definately a golfer. I own and operate www.OttawaGolf.comhttp://http://http://http://http://http://http://http://http://http:// a resource and forum for Ottawa golfers - hence the plate OTT_GOLF and the nick-name "OGStang". I guess some here thought the OGStang stood for some awesome upgrade and were dissapinted to see a stock sixer.

First time, but I will be keeping her shiny.

Sorry I am a newbie. Does adding a drop mean lowering the car a few inches?

That sounds interesting. Any reccomended links to show me what's involved?

I don't know much on it, but I think someone on here has done it, they ran something stupid like a 11/10 second pass, amazing for a little V6...

Please please please don't take this the wrong way, but if you don't know what a drop is, you're probably not ready for a turbo. Not trying to be douchey just saying.

Yes, by dropping it, he means you should lower it. Throwing a turbo on a car is a whole lot of work, time, and money. I don't know if there are any kits out there for your car but to get a good running turbo, you'd be paying a lot more than that car is worth and you'd be needing to do quite a few other upgrades to allow your V6 to hold more power. You can do it, but just saying, its not a bolt-on sort of affair.

The car looks clean. A few minor upgrades and it can look amazing. If it were mine, I would lower it, put some Black Beauty headlights on it, and put some 18" FR500s on it with deep dish in the rear and put a dual exhaust on it. It would look really mean and nice.

No worries. I apperciate your input. I did look into turbos briefly when that was posted and quickly dismissed the idea. I learned something and that is always a good thing.

I have ordered a Cold air intake. Something just to get my feet wet. It won't break the bank, and hopefully I'll see a small benefit.

I don't think I want to drop the car though. It already rides lower than I am really used to. :)

I have not decided if the black headlights are what I want. They woulld look great parked, but here in Canada we have to have runing lights on at all times and I don't know if the black headlights would even be visible on the road.

I was considering a dual exhaust but I will probably wait until it needs some exhaust work done, then just rip it all out and do it then. That is if I don't have some extra cash at some point.

WOW, quite a warm welcome for some people.

Looks like a VERY clean car bud. Any motor or interior shot?

Looks like a car straight off the 1997 showroom floor

Rims and rear wheel spacers would make it look damn good.

Then it wouldn't be stock anymore though. That thing is like a time capsule. I think it's very nice.

I put the dark headlights on it a couple of months ago and finally got around to taking pics today. What a difference!

Yah, they could be nicer for sure. I think the next item in the budget is to address a few problem areas in the body. I know it looks very good in the pics but it has some areas that need work and I feel that's more important than wheels until these current tires need replacing.
