My car at Sebring!

Hey guys,

I forgot to post these awhile back ago. Anyway, here are some pictures of my car on the track at Sebring during the Sebring Sensation over the Memorial Day weekend. Enjoy.

I just participated in the "Test Drive". Basically it's a teaser to try and get you hooked on the High Performance Driving Experience and get you pay for more laps on track. I was really tempted to pay for the Sunday classes, but I had to come home. I'm going to participate in the Saturday event next year.

Thanks. I've done a bit of it all in regards to racing the car, but throwing the car through the corners is a hell of a lot of fun. Once I started autocrossing I never went back to drag racing. Now I'm trying my hand at high speed driving.

good platform for corners with the right suspension!! body roll gone with the slightest drop i've noticed on the sn's!!

I was hooked afterwards. Even more so after my instructor took me for a ride in his car. That was an insane ride, but extremely fun.

I like the pictures a lot. My favorite is the last one with the red catfish behind you!
Very nice car, I love that color it makes the red in the tail lights pop. I love that 5.0's seem to have no exhaust hanging down too low issues.

Thanks for the complements guys. These pictures were from a professional photographer, so I'm not sure what kind of camera he was using. There were four of us there and three of us were on track so we didn't get to take any pictures of each others cars. If you look at the the first picture, the GTO behind is my friends brother. My friend was in front of me in his 2001 Bullitt.

My car actually did quite well, I was really surprised at how fast I could go around the corners. I know I could have gone a lot faster, but since this was my first time driving the car this way I wasn't comfortable going too fast. I got up over 100 on the back stretch coming into turn 17 and then over 90 on the front stretch coming into turn 1. The instructor that rode with me has a fox body GT. That guy could flat out drive that car.

100mph into a turn is pretty fn good! especially for not being that experienced!! most folks would lock it up on a high speed turn!! kudos
