Alright just like the title says. My car kind of pulls side to side on the road. I know it has to do with my suspension, I just need help knowing what to get. Its sitting on Eibach Sportlines with all other suspension components stock :angry7: I haven't upgraded anything else because I really only drive the car over the summer and when I'm home because I'm away at college right now. I haven't upgraded yet because I didn't want to dump a lot of money into it right before college. So what do you guys suggest I get to make it stop pulling side to side?

-And I'm also planning on getting new shocks/struts and caster camber plates this summer. Any help on brands and type would be greatly appreciated :angel4:

on smooth even pavement?

what size tires are on it?

I get a little of that now that I have my 315's on but mostly on roads that aren't perfectly smooth or have a seam.

If its stockish tires i'd look into the tierods being worn and just letting it wander.

It has 255-40-17 on 17x8 98' cobra wheels. The tires are a little wide for a 17x8 wheel and have a little bit of a bulge. Do you think thats what could be doing it?

-And when I had it aligned after putting the springs on I had to get one tie rod replaced, so both tie rods should be good :dontknow:

next time go with a 245. if the pavement is rough it could be bumpsteer if so get a bumpsteer kit. which tie rods were replaced? inner or outer.

How much play is in the steering wheel? Jack up the car and try to wiggle the front tires. maybe a bushing is bad?

Alright yea I'll try that...it was an outer tie rod bad on the drivers side. And yea I would've gotten 245's cause thats what I had on my stock wheels but when I bought the 98 Cobra's it came with two 255/40's so I just went ahead and bought two more of the exact same tire

also for the record that sidewall is too small. our cars usually dont take 40 series sidewalls untill you have 275 width, but definitely go with 245/45 next time.

let us know what happens

Yea...if I would've put the tires on in the beginning, I definitely would've done 245's

Add some good MM CC plates and have your alignment guy dial in about 4* of caster. It will behave much better.

I don't think the tire size is causing any of the problem.

Thats kind of what I was thinking. Even though the sidewall and width aren't ideal, I don't think it would be causing this. I think it has to do with something in the suspension
