My daughter visiting her uncle.

My youngest is on a business trip to D.C. and stopped by to visit her uncle. It's been close to 45yrs since she's visited. Not your normal visit. I got choked up when she called me today.

I have to say it's the uncle she never knew, due to not being born. She does it for respect.

Her first visit she was about 4yrs old. She got a rubbing and left it on the plane coming home, felt like crap since that day. All good now! Told her to see the Korean War Memorial, that one is spooky cool!

My folks took me there as a kid. Must be close to 40 years ago but even as a complete dumbass kid it was hard to miss the seriousness of it all.
