My Exhaust Set-up

Ok i have BBK Long Tube Header and thats it at the moment. They are actually on the car and it sounds wicked open header like that. Anyways I need to finish off the exhaust.
Now what?
I wanted to buy a ready made x-pipe and some race mufflers, take them to my shop and have them add piping to connect it all.

My question is what is a good diameter size pipe to go with?
Im thinking 3" and the tips be 3.5"
What do you all think is a good race style muffler (looking for round bullet shaped style ones)

3" is too big, you will lose torque. I hear borla is nice, but they are $$$. Magnaflows would be my choice in your situation. As far as the x goes, you would be better off buying an off road x pipe complete b/c chances are your shop doesn't have a mandrel bender, and if they do, it is $$$.

yeah 3" is too big for sure...that will f*** up your back pressure...You should go with 2.5" all the way back and then you could go with as big of tips as you want. I got 3.5" magnaflow tips and they look reaalllyyyyyy good

ok thanks... my stangs were parked for so long and stuff because... well you know how it is when you are involved with a girl... especially when they dont like your hobbies. Anyways all those are over with for the time being, time to get them back up and running.
