Hey guys just thought i would rant about the recent experience i had with ths website. After my diappointing experience trying to buy recaro's off ebay i decided to just suck it up and buy brand new corbeau cr1's from this website.

Three weeks ago the seats were priced at $385 per seat in canadian dollars. Now the way the site works is that they show the americn dollar amount and then convert it into canadian dollars. This WAS a good system until they used it to screw me right over.

Now, since as of late the canadian exchange rate has taken a beating so they raised their prices to $443 per seat. I had no problem with this and ordered 2 seats and 2 tracks AND PAID FOR THEM. Then the next day, the economy decides to take a shit again because the stupid auto manufactures didnt get their bail out and the exchange rate falls another 3 cents. I get an email from these bastards two days later saying they cannot honour the advertised price of $443 on their website...

Then they proceed to give me an ultimatum of cancelling the order or charging me $500 per seat and $122 per track...I was like WTF. So i sent them an email which will probably do nothing, but anyhow. Now, this is what pisses me of even more....their advertised american price is $357...

$500can/$357us = 1.40 can$/us$

The last time i checked the exchange rate was 1.21 NOT 1.40.

So yea, they are dishonest. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

RANT OVER

never heard of them. Why not just buy from a known company like 50resto?

My guess is. 50resto is located in the USA so his package would go through customs and take longer. While, that website is located in Canada which means faster shipments w/o customs.

Don't know how it is in Canada, but if you purchased them at the advertised price and paid for them, you have entered into a contract with them. They must honor that contract price, you are receiving no new value when the changed the prices, but then again you're dealing with Canadian law so I have no idea how it works up there.
