i would ask how often it's been driven and what the reason for parking it was. and as much i like to respect other peoples cars before the title is in my name. . . .beat the living hell out of that gear box before you get it. i had to buy a new clutch for mine the day i got it and that's not fun. as for the cooling issues of the 96 cobra's, i would say don't worry tooooo much about that. mine's a 96 and drives solid even when i push it fairly hard (especially considering the north carolina heat i run it in). and generally, you'll know fairly quickly if it hasn't had the fix because it'll be puking coolant out all over the road at a stop light. it was the early 96's thats had that issue and i really doubt there's more than a handful out there still on the road that still have that problem.
