my little experiment

since i can buy tires for my split spokes yet and my rims were chipped and cracking so i decided to try a different color to see how it would look
I ended up going with bronze
wheels off

sanded down

one primered and one halfway painted

back on the car

Not a drastic difference (in pics at least) but it looks good man.

Split spokes would look a lot nicer, but those aren't bad at all.

yea split spokes are definitely better but i dont have a job so i cant afford tires for them, hopefully i get them for my birthday in
october

Not a huge fan of the rims, but as you stated you're getting new ones. but the paint choice was good, and they came out very well!

I used bronze "duplicolor" wheel paint and grey "bright touch" primer which is also made by duplicolor
