Well i had my factory catted hpipe taken off and had a Mac pro chamber offroad pipe put on. I was told the pipe was for equal length shorty headers, but I went ahead and had it put on my factory ones, just had to add a couple inches of pipe to the driver side. The car is a little louder not as much as I thought it would be after removing 4 cats, but it has a raspy sound that it didnt have before. I went ahead and kept my Pro Sound "flowmaster knockoff" mufflers that are dumped. My only problem is that it has had a exhaust leak coming from the pass side at the header flange. I took it back to my exhaust guys and they heated up the bolts and tightened them as much as they could, but still have a leak. He told me to drive it about a weak so it has time for the pipe flange to form better to the ball of the header?? Then to bring it back in so they can tighten it again.. Does this sound right to you all? And also il try and get some video of it running and put a link up.

O/R prochamber is not going to be loud on a stock or near stock engine. It just has a nice tone.. thats about it.

What they told you about the leak was in-correct. You need a gasket for the passenger side. If its not there or seated correctly it will leak forever!

You need this gasket: ===> http://www.brothersperformance.com/p-4677-96-04-gt-exhaust-header-flange-gasket-46l-right-side.aspx

You can get it from FORD dealer or buy it online. From the sound of you it. You got a used prochamber so i doubt you had the gasket you need, so get the gasket i listed above and the leak will go away.

That leak will not fix itself, they lied to you, take it back out and use a gasket like stated above or use red RTV sealant.

Ok, so should the factory pipe should have had one? Twista, the gasket in your link was for a 4.6, I tried finding one for a 5.0 on their site but didn't see one.

Sorry, i seen the 96-98 tail lights in your sig. I thought you had a 4.6L mustang.

If its 94-95 5.0 then you dont need a gasket far as i know. Might want to try like RED RTV like suggested.
