Ok so im new to the nitrous scene and I'm thinking of getting about a 75hp dry shot on my 1995 GT, and im curious which one of these kits you guys would think would work best for someone new to nitrous. The first is a NOS kit and the second is a ZEX kit, I was thinking the ZEX kit because its computer controlled but let me know what you think. Thanks

i prefer going wet kit for EFI and dry for carb but to each his own.

i've owned both the ZEX and the NOS kit and to be honest.. not a bit of difference to me. Yes the ZEX kit does have a computer controller but it doesn't make it that much better over the NOS kit. My best advice in this area is to choose wisely (close your eyes and point to one and which ever it is buy it) then to buy a MSD Digital RPM switch.

I had a MSD Digital RPM switch and basically with it and a wot switch you can't go wrong. The way it works is you install your wot switch to insure that you only spray nitrous at wot, then you install the MSD rpm switch which allows you to set the solenoid to activate at a certain RPM then to shut off at a certain RPM..

this to me is the best setup because you will only spray during your desired RPM's and only at wot. again i've been through this a few times so take it for what it's worth to you it's only advice but hope this helps some.

People have taken apart their little boxes and all thats in it is a single nitrous solenoid attached to a nitrous distribution block unless something has changed. just go with the tried and true 05115 kit with the 2 nitrous solenoids n regulator. simple and works great.

I agree, go w/ the NOS if it's between the two. I ran that exact same kit and it's nice plus you can also convert it to a wet kit later on. I've also had kits from edelbrock and NX. NX was by far the nicest. but any of the 3 would work great.
