need a computer

Like it says im pretty sure i need one cause the car will not idle right. Ive checked all the usual stuff and nothings wrong so ive come to the conclusion that i need a new computer. Im pretty sick and tired of having to change shit constantly on this car to keep it running if this dont fix it im done with it and ill probably get rid of it. Thanks :angry7:

If the PCM was bad you would def. know it. I toasted my PCM one time when we were tuning my old 92 LX on the dyno. I went to pull the chip out of the PCM to change some settings and left the key in the on position.

Toasted the PCM...that will do it everytime.

I went to start the car and it hardly wanted to start. When I did get it to start it would not hold the idle without me holding the gas pedal and I had a CEL.

its probably due to the E303 cam you got. need to have the computer tuned, should get rid of the problem. my b303 cam wouldn't idle for shit, so I swapped it for the steeda #19 cam

My e303 required a Tweecer to get it to run normally.

How due you use the Tweecer program? Is it very difficult?

You have to learn some stuff about basic computer software, and also learn how the software in the car works. it helps to have a good handle on how an engine operates.
