I've been a fox guy for a while I've had a few sn's but have never really focusd on the the 94-95 cobras. So if sum 1 could give me a lil info on motors ovr stock 5.0 would b great

Major differences:

Cobra specific upper/lower intake
Mass air meter calibrated for 24 lb injectors
GT40 heads
roller rockers

13" front brakes and vented 11.65" rear brakes with different front PBR calipers. Rear calipers are the standard Varga. MC is a smaller bore IIRC.

What is it that leads peeps to think the MAF is calibrated?

The Cobra is tuned for 92 octane as well.

I think people are just used to matching MAF/Injector, in the mustang world anyway. Easy mistake, my buddy bought 93 Cobra MAF and 24# squirters to find out the MAF is the same as the GT, the ECU makes up for the 24s.

Yeah i think Rich is right. there is so much talk about matching the MAF to the injectors that people just assume because the Cobra has 24#ers. The better way is to tune the computer and that's what Ford did.
