Need a little help

So I just got back from the car wash and while I was on the highway blow drying it my car seemed like it was choking out in 5th ,when I would step on the gas. I did put a plastic bag around the air filter to keep it from getting wet. It is possible I got something electronic wet or maybe the moisture/water from the hood liner got into the air intake and all I have to do is let it dry? The car was running fine before the wash. Any recommendations will help thanks guys

did you wash under hood? maybe you got under the dizzy cap wet

Sorry thought I explained that with the air filter. Yes I did wash under the hood. It seems like it chokes out when I give it more gas. Another thing to I just got the car back from the tuner like three weeks ago, but since I got it back it's been running fine up till right after this wash.

prolly just got water in your distributor cap.... happens everytime i wash mine.. just blow it out and you should be fine!!
